The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Residential - online booking

For over 40 years the Peak Park Conservation Volunteers have worked with volunteers from all kinds of backgrounds, helping them to enjoy and understand the qualities of the Peak District National Park.

They offer fantastic residential conservation projects at their two centres, Marsh Farm near Leek and Brunt's Barn in Grindleford, in the beautiful Peak District National Park.

The projects are tailor made to fulfil the requirements of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold Residential and the Queen's Scout / Queen Guide Award and are available to people aged between 18 and 25. The projects themselves undertake physical conservation work at sites around the Peak District National Park

Brunt's Barn and Marsh Farm offer bunkhouse accommodation in converted stone barns. You will spend your evening leisure time sharing the self-catering facilities. Organising your domestic arrangements as a group is an essential part of your residential experience.

A place on one of the projects costs £220, this price includes food, accommodation, use of tools and travel between conservation sites.

Once you've made your booking you will receive an email and receipt confirming your place on the project. Please complete the online booking form including anything dietary or medical which you feel we need to know about when we order food or set up the course, including any condition which may impact on your ability to participate fully during the conservation projects.

In the case of cancellation by the participant up to one month before the project start date we will refund the amount paid minus £50 administration costs. For cancellations within a month of the start date we will retain the full amount.
