The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Residential - online booking
For over 40 years the Peak Park Conservation Volunteers have worked with volunteers from all kinds of backgrounds, helping them to enjoy and understand the qualities of the Peak District National Park.
They offer fantastic residential conservation projects at their two centres, Marsh Farm near Leek and Brunt's Barn in Grindleford, in the beautiful Peak District National Park.
The projects are tailor made to fulfil the requirements of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold Residential and the Queen's Scout / Queen Guide Award and are available to people aged between 18 and 25. The projects themselves undertake physical conservation work at sites around the Peak District National Park
Brunt's Barn and Marsh Farm offer bunkhouse accommodation in converted stone barns. You will spend your evening leisure time sharing the self-catering facilities. Organising your domestic arrangements as a group is an essential part of your residential experience.
A place on one of the projects costs £220, this price includes food, accommodation, use of tools and travel between conservation sites.
