Suitable for young and old alike who are up for the challenge of a steep climb to Derbyshire's best picnic spot! A stunning walk over the moors to the iconic rock formations of Derwent Edge. Fabulous views of Derwent, Ladybower and beyond. In May the moors are alive with nesting birds like curlew and skylark, whilst in August we will enjoy the expanses of deep purple heather in bloom. As an added bonus we take in 2 'Ethels', if these are your first, there are 93 more high points of the Peak District to visit. Ask your Ranger for details.

Event Terrain: Mostly good paths but there is one long, steep climb.
