Suitable for young and old alike who are up for the challenge of a steep climb to Derbyshire's best picnic spot!  A stunning walk over the moors to the iconic rock formations of Derwent Edge.  Fabulous views of Derwent, Ladybower and beyond. 
Event Grade: Moderate - moderate walks on ground with sometimes rough and uneven terrain and gradients.
Event Terrain: Mostly good paths but there is one long, steep climb.
Start: 10:00 am  Finish: 3:15 pm
Meeting Point: Fairholmes Visitor Centre, Derwent Lane, Bamford. From the A57 where the road crosses the Ladybower Reservoir, follow the brown tourist sign to Derwent Valley Dams, then to Fairholmes.

Parking: Pay and Display. Pay by cash at the machine or by card in the Visitor Centre. Toilets at the start.

Cost: £10 per person aged 18 and above. Children aged 17 and below go free on any suitable event.
