A walk through different habitats listening to the bird species found in each habitat. We will pass a reservoir, river, woodland areas, moorland and farmland. We will walk quietly listening for bird song along the way. Enjoy the birdsong and learn how to identify which birds you're listening to. 

 

Event Grade: Moderate - moderate walks on ground with sometimes rough and uneven terrain and gradients.

 

Event Terrain: Some steep ascents, uneven ground and stiles. There may be livestock present and it could be very muddy. 

 

Extra Items: Bring your binoculars for possible bird sightings.
