Explore part of the Limestone Way with views across the White Peak plateau before descending into Lathkill Dale National Nature Reserve. Here in the depths of one of the most beautiful of Derbyshire Dales, nature has shrouded the mills, mines and quarries of an industrial past leaving a home for wildlife like Dippers and Grey Wagtails. 

Event Terrain:  Mostly on good paths with some muddy sections in places. There is one steep 90m ascent up a flight of limestone steps and there is also a 1km stretch through Lathkill Dale where the terrain is rocky and could be slippery in wet conditions.

Event Grade: Hard - longer more challenging walks usually with ascents and descents and rough terrain.

Extra Items: Bring packed lunch, drink, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear

Meeting point: Small car park on Chapel Street, Monyash Village Centre. Car park has an honesty box. Additional parking available roadside if car park is full.
