Hartington – Railways, Well Dressings and Cheese - Sunday 14 September

We start and finish at Hartington Station on the Tissington Trail. The route follows quiet paths and country lanes, passing picturesque barns and old buildings, including the 17th century Hartington Hall which now houses the youth hostel.   In the village of Hartington, once famous for cheese making, we will have the chance to see the famous well dressings - and perhaps buy an icecream!

Event Grade: Easy - but sometimes rough and uneven terrain and gradients.

Start: 10:00am but please arrive early to find a parking space. Finish: 2:00pm
 
Meeting Point: Hartington Station Car Park. Toilets available at the start of the walk and in the village.
