The aim of the walk is to show how the map relates to the countryside and how to use it to guide yourself on a 5 mile walk.  The walk will be along forest tracks and open moorland, there will be some up hills.
 
Event Grade: Moderate - moderate walks on ground with sometimes rough and uneven terrain and gradients. 
 
Event Terrain: Mainly forest tracks and open moorland and there will be some hills.
 
Extra Items: Ordnance Survey OL24 White Peak 1:25000 map and a compass.
 
Start: 10.00am Finish: 3.00pm
