Learn the fascinating stories of the historic air crashes in the Upper Derwent Valley whilst exploring the woods and moors close to Fairholmes. On the return we will visit the site of the navvy village at Tintown where the workers who built the dams lived, over 100 years ago. Come prepared for all weathers and 7 miles of steep and rough walking.
 
Event Grade: Hard - longer, more challenging, walks usually with ascents and descents and rough terrain.
 
Event Terrain: Long climbs and some rough moorland walking.
