10 Miles

A strenuous exploration of the breath-taking Holme Moss moorlands. We visit aircraft wrecks and learn their history.  Enjoy wonderful views and iconic Dark Peak habitats!

Event Grade: Very Hard.  You need to be fit and well equipped for a full day of walking on very rough ground. If in doubt as to your ability, we suggest you sign up for one of our less strenuous walks first.

Event Terrain.  Difficult. Rough and boggy. Some steep climbs. Often no paths.

Extra Items: Please wear good walking boots.  Bring full water-proofs.  Bring lunch and plenty of water.

Sorry - No toilet facilities available.  No access by public transport.

Dogs on leads allowed.

Cost: £15 aged 18 and above.  Under 18s free with paying adult.  Please note the degree of difficulty of this walk.
