Enjoy a varied walk around Millers Dale and Tideswell treading ancient trackways and traversing limestone dales. We'll look at the industries and ways of life which have shaped this 'White Peak' landscape over time. We will give you an insight into the Peak District National Park and the work of the Ranger Service with some practical examples. There will be some great photo opportunities!
Event Grade: Moderate - moderate walks on ground with sometimes rough and uneven terrain and gradients.
Event Terrain: A gentle walk with 1 moderate ascent at the start, generally good paths underfoot, following a mixture of broad tracks and footpaths through farmers' fields, where there may be cows, sheep & muddy after rain.
