A leisurely guided cycle ride on traffic free trails and quiet byways with frequent breaks to discover more about the beautiful landscape, industrial and medieval heritage. Suitable for all the family. Led by veteran cyclist and ranger John Corbett, this is a ride with wide horizons and beautiful views. Included is also a short introduction to mindfulness by experienced practitioner Mike Pupius. A great introduction to England's first national park.  

Event Terrain: Quiet lanes, and trails, Undulating with a few short steep climbs  

Event Grade: Moderate - moderate cycle ride with sometimes rough and uneven terrain and gradients.  

Extra Items: Bike hire is available. Book directly with Parsley Hay cycle hire at least a few days in advance if hire bikes required. Or bring own bike & helmet, refreshments &  pack lunch, suitable clothing & footwear (helmets must be worn). Minimum age 10yrs (depending on cycle ability).

Meeting Point: Meet Parsley Hay Cycle Hire Centre. Parsley Hay cycle hire centre is situated eight miles south of the spa town of Buxton. Easily reached via the A515 from both Buxton and Ashbourne.

Parking: Pay & Display - bring coins for parking machine. Arrive early as it gets busy. Toilets are available at the start.

Cost: £10.00 per adult. Children under 17 go free but for this event, the minimum age is 10 years old (Depending on cycle ability).
