Enjoy dramatic, far-reaching views as we discover evidence of ancient settlements and explore the local history.  We walk from the White Lodge car park into Deep Dale, climbing steeply up the Access Land out of the Dale and into Sheldon Village. Then the across the fields to Magpie Mine.   

 

Event Terrain: One steep ascent .  Limestone tracks, rocky/stoney paths. Some field paths.  

 

Event Grade: Moderate - moderate walks on ground with sometimes rough and uneven terrain and gradients.
